Humble Lamb is a Bible publisher that may be a new name to your ears (or eyes). But they are more than just a cool name. They make really, really nice Bibles with some cool and unique features. Personally, I love what Humble Lamb is doing and they are certainly a company that more people need to know. Once you handle one of their Bibles, you’ll see what the fuss is about.
Thomas Nelson has released a new series of Bibles called The Maclaren Series. This new series is actually an old series that has been rebranded. They used to have what they called NKJV and KJV Preaching Bibles, however, that sounds really specific. Obviously, they want to move these Bibles and labeling a Bible as a preaching Bible may cause someone to immediately pass on a Bible because they don’t preach. Just as I said in my reviews of the Preaching Bibles though, these are great Bibles and are certainly useful to many people besides preachers.
When I heard about the Sovereign Collection from Thomas Nelson, just the name excited me. I had no idea what it was really, but knew I wanted to check it out. When I received my copy of the Sovereign Collection KJV Personal Size Reference Bible, I was blown away. I didn’t know what to expect, but it certainly wasn’t what showed up. This KJV is a beautiful edition in an excellent size and format. I’m reviewing the black genuine leather Bible. Let’s talk about it…
