Lately it seems that I’ve really become attracted to blue Bibles. It wasn’t a conscious decision, it just seemed to happen. Blue has always been one of my favorite colors so I suppose it would make sense that I like blue Bibles. When Thomas Nelson released a limited edition Premier Collection NKJV in blue goatskin, I knew I wanted to get a copy. I finally got my hands on one and I’m pleased to bring you a review of the Limited Edition Premier Collection NKJV Large Print Thinline Reference Bible in blue goatskin.
When I heard about the Sovereign Collection from Thomas Nelson, just the name excited me. I had no idea what it was really, but knew I wanted to check it out. When I received my copy of the Sovereign Collection KJV Personal Size Reference Bible, I was blown away. I didn’t know what to expect, but it certainly wasn’t what showed up. A Bible I've heard a lot about, but wasn't too familiar with is the NET Bible. The NET is really interesting because you can get a full notes edition like I'm reviewing today and see all of the translation notes from the team that translated this Bible. It's pretty incredible to read and the layout will make you say, "Wow!"
Thomas Nelson has really been stepping up their game in the premium Bible department. I’ve recently come to love and appreciate the New King James Version as a translation and I’ve also discovered a love for Bibles in the verse-by-verse page layout. That’s why I jumped at the opportunity to review Thomas Nelson’s Premier Collection NKJV Verse-by-Verse Center-Column Reference Bible.
