A Unique Children’s Book from InTheBook.com
Today I’ve got a very unique book review coming to you. I’m reviewing a book by a company called In The Book. They reached out to me and asked if I’d be interested in reviewing a book and explained to me that they did customized kids books. I have a two and four year old so I was definitely interested.
After checking their website I ended up choosing a Disney Princess Christmas book. They have rights with all kinds of Disney stories, which is really cool. I wanted to choose the Nightmare Before Christmas book, but given I have two girls, I thought the princesses would be a bigger hit. They also have non-related Disney stories as well.
When I ordered the book, I got to choose a name for the customization. Since there was a character limit, I chose "C & E" to try and include my two girls (you can’t leave one out!) I also got to submit a custom message to them and a picture for the book.
Upon receiving the book, I couldn’t have been more pleased. It comes in a nice, white decorative box with the Disney castle on the front in shiny silver. It looks so nice before you even open it up.
This book itself is really great! It’s hardcover, which I love. The cover is beautifully vibrant and at the bottom says, "ESPECIALLY FOR C & E". This is such a cool gift already. My girls love books and this one is such a nice, personal touch.
The first page has the picture I chose inside a frame and underneath is my custom message to my girls. When I showed this to them they absolutely flipped out! They loved seeing themselves inside a book and it was such a neat touch. Seeing their faces made this book worth it from the get go. The next two pages contained a custom story with their names in it called "C & E and the Magic Winter". Their names were included throughout the story and this will become even more fun when they read it for themselves and see their names in such a nice book.
The rest of the book includes four Disney Princess Christmas and Winter stories. The stories are pretty long and the pictures are vibrant and colorful. The book totals 98 pages so I think you’re really getting a great value when it comes to this book.
The book is so nicely done and I know it’s something our family will treasure for years to come. If you have young children and want to give them something that will become a keepsake, definitely check out In The Book. I think you’ll be more than pleased!
