The LSB Children's Edition

The Bible I’m reviewing today is truly unique! I thought it looked cool from the pictures online, but I was blown away when I saw it in person. This is the LSB Children’s Edition in Onyx Black Camo. It includes all kinds of great features, but the cover is the real show stopper for this one.

I thought I’d be reviewing a cool camouflage Bible, which is unique enough in itself, but I was blown away by the reflective material used on this cover! It is sort of holographic and changes as you move it around. It’s really cool! Embossed on the front is “HOLY BIBLE” along with a diamond graphic. Embossed on the spine is “HOLY BIBLE”, the LSB logo, “LEGACY STANDARD BIBLE”, and “STEADFAST BIBLES”.

The Bible features gold page edges along with two double sided satin, thin ribbon bookmarks—one in black and the other in navy. Inside is a black vinyl paste down liner along with black vinyl end sheets.

I can’t tell you much about the paper in this Bible except for the fact that it looks nice and opaque. The Bible features the same layout as the LSB double column. It’s in a versified, double column format. The type size is 10 point. Words of Christ are in red.

The real show stopper here is all the features they packed in. This may be a good point to say that this Bible is marketed to kids, but I believe many adults could benefit from some of these features as well. In the back you’ll find a 119 page topical index to help introduce key Biblical themes along with supporting Scriptures, other Bible helps such as parables of Jesus, miracles of Jesus, OT prophecies fulfilled in Christ, important events in Christ’s life, different memory verses, etc, full color maps, a read through the NT plan, and space to write your favorite memory verses. There’s also full color illustrations with key Biblical verses throughout the Bible.

This Bible truly is packed with cool features and it’s wrapped up in a cool camo cover. It would be a great gift to any kid and could lend itself beneficial to most adults!
