The NKJV Premier Collection Large Print Thinline Reference Bible LIMITED EDITION in Green Goatskin

I love these beautiful colored goatskins that Thomas Nelson has been putting out. Even more, I love a beautiful green Bible. It’s one of my favorite colors and the Large Print Thinline Reference has quickly become one of my favorite layouts.

This truly is a beautiful green goatskin. It feels great in the hand and it looks stunning. The spine of the Bible is simple with five raised ribs. In gold it says, “HOLY BIBLE”, “NEW KING JAMES VERSION”, and “THOMAS NELSON”. The page edges are a red under gold art gilt. There are three beautiful ribbons in green, black, and red.

Inside features a green calf liner and green vinyl end sheets. There’s a decorative gold diamond patter around the perimeter. The Bible is Smyth-sewn and edge-lined for durability.

You get 36 gsm premium European Bible paper in this one. It’s line matched as well to help readability. I love that Thomas Nelson can consistently use 36 gsm paper and manage to keep their thinline Bibles thin. It’s certainly an art that other publishers need to achieve. This is a double column layout with an 11 point font in the NKJV Comfort Print typeface. Page headings, chapter numbers, subheadings, and cross-reference numbers are all accented in red. Words of Christ are also in red. This is a double column layout with cross-references spanning a single column at the bottom of each page.

In the back you’ll find a concordance as well as several full color maps.

I love this Bible! The green is so nice and so is the layout. This is a limited edition, but it’s one definitely worth picking up!
