The Premier Collection NIV Grace & Truth Study Bible

I have been really excited about this Bible for a long time. If I’m honest with you, the New International Version isn’t even in my top five translation wise, but this is a study Bible and the value in study Bibles are the notes. This is also a premium Bible and I can’t believe what Zondervan has done with this thing! You’ve got a blue Bible with a red liner and a semi-yapp. I saw it online and was like, “Man, I’ve got to see this thing for myself!” Not only that, Dr. Albert Mohler, the president of The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary—my alma mater—is the general editor. To say I’m excited about getting to review this Bible is an understatement! I thought it looked great online, but it has blown me away in person.

The Valley of Vision Bound in Goatskin

The Valley of Vision almost needs no introduction. It’s a collection of Puritan prayers that is a long-time favorite for many including myself. Many people have used this collection devotionally and to aid in their own prayer life. These prayers are theologically rich, deep, beautiful, and inspiring. Up until very recently, you could get a copy of the The Valley of Vision in paperback or bonded leather. These prayers have become such a treasure to so many that it was only fitting for them to be bound in something that could withstand the frequent use the volume is sure to receive. When Banner of Truth announced The Valley of Vision was releasing in both genuine leather and goatskin, those of us who love these prayers couldn’t contain our excitement. I’m excited to have received a copy of the goatskin edition of The Valley of Vision from Westminster Books in exchange for a fair and honest review. You can’t beat the service Westminster Books will provide you and I wholeheartedly recommend you purchase this title from them…

The ESV Creeds and Confessions Bible Review in Black Goatskin

Crossway’s new Creeds and Confessions Bible in goatskin has been controversial among the premium Bible community. Crossway has recently made the shift to printing it’s premium Bibles in China and there has been several providing negative feedback. In my review today, I hope to provide a fair and balanced opinion with this conclusion—this Bible is much better than the feedback and criticism it is receiving from many online, but it is also not as good as Crossway’s previous premiums printed in the Netherlands. With that said, let’s talk about the Bible.

The Cambridge Goatskin ESV Topaz Bible Review

It takes a lot for a Bible to blow me away these days. I’ve been privileged to get to check out many of the nicest Bibles out there. I really thought I had just about seen and experienced it all. When I first heard about Cambridge’s new Bible, I figured it would be much of the same things I had seen and experienced. All of that changed when I finally received a copy to review. The Topaz blew me away. It set the bar higher for what a premium Bible should be. I was honestly pretty shocked. What makes the Topaz so great? Let’s talk about it.
