Hi.

Welcome to my blog. I mostly write about Christian Living, but I enjoy the Kentucky Wildcats, New Orleans Saints, and a good cup of coffee.

The LSB Double Column Verse-by-Verse

The LSB Double Column Verse-by-Verse

I was recently sent a hardcover double column verse-by-verse Legacy Standard Bible. While there’s not a lot of depth to go into on a hardcover, I do think they are vastly underrated. Hardcovers are the work horses of Bibles. You can throw them in a bag with no worries. You can keep them out on a table around your kids without fear. Even more so, the price is right! If you’re looking to check out a full version of the LSB in a physical format, this is the one! I believe they are currently selling for 17.99 on the 316 website. Let’s take a closer look!

This is a black hardcover that has a vinyl feel to it on the outside. The LSB logo is in gold on the front cover with matching gold writing on the spine. Page edges are white. Inside is a white paper paste down liner. This Bible is printed and bound in Korea.

Paper opacity is fantastic at 32 gsm. As stated, this is a two column verse-by-verse layout and is the first full two column that has been produced in the LSB. The type size is nice at a 10 point and the text is line matched. Words of Christ are in black. the Bible is Smyth-sewn.

This is a basic Bible, but it’s great for the price. Like I said, it’s meant to be used. The 316 site will work with you even more if you want to order cases for pew Bibles. I think if you’re looking to check out the LSB at an entry level price then this is the Bible you should go with!

Disclaimer: I received a copy of this Bible in exchange for a fair and honest review.
