750 Bible Answers to Life's Most Important Questions

To say I was a little excited for this book’s release would be an understatement. I have listened on and off to the Ask Pastor John Podcast for quite some time. Certainly longer than I can remember. The podcast features listener submitted questions regarding the Christian life and John Piper does his best to answer these questions and give pastoral wisdom to the asker. I was pretty shocked when I heard they were making it a book.

Tony Reinke is the host of Ask Pastor John and he’s also the author of this book. Piper is credited with the forward. However, the answers given in the book are Pipers, but there’s a weird mash up going on here. Given the design of the book, it may be fair to credit both Piper and Reinke as co-authors. Reinke has taken content from many of the Ask Pastor John episodes, arranged it topically, and taken answers to multiple questions and put them under one heading.

I think this book will be a very helpful resource for Christians. Any time Christians can have a resource giving biblical advice to hard questions that are arranged topically, I think it’s a valuable resource to have on the shelf. You’ll want to pick up a copy of Ask Pastor John.
