We often talk about being sinners from birth. We inherit our sinful nature from our parents—it’s part of being human. Ultimately, we inherit it from Adam and Eve. We say that we aren’t sinners because we sin, but we sin because we are sinners. It’s our nature. It’s a fundamental part of who we are. This is why the gospel is such good news. We can’t be good enough to pacify a holy God. ..
In my previous blog post regarding late term abortion in New York, I pressed the question of why stop with babies in the womb? I didn’t expect someone to be so forthright so soon, but it would appear the governor of Virginia is trying to one-up New York.
At this point it has well been reported that New York has passed a bill that will allow the murder of babies as long as they’re in the womb. One month or nine months makes no difference to them. They are no longer trying to hide the fact that they are ok with the killing of babies so long as they aren’t outside of the womb.
Planned Parenthood is such a misunderstood organization. Say anything about defunding them and you will certainly have people objecting against you arguing that you are taking away women’s rights to healthcare (as if there is nowhere else to go). They will also typically argue that abortion is a very small part of their business and what they’re concerned about…
