A Review of a Rebind from Hill Bible Binding

One area of the premium Bible world that needs more attention is rebinds. Rebinds are amazing because they can give old Bibles new life or they can let you take a favorite Bible and customize it’s design. The sky can truly be the limit with a Bible rebind. Today I’m excited to feature a review of a rebind from Becky Hill at Hill Bible Binding. I had always been impressed with Becky’s work so I knew I wanted to see it up close for myself.

The NASB Journal the Word Reference Bible

I love journaling Bibles. They are the only Bible I will write in. The ESV has had the market for journaling Bibles for a long time, but that is changing and it’s great news! Every translation should have a journaling Bible option and that is becoming more and more the case. The newest offering is from Zondervan and the NASB translation finally has a journaling Bible!

The Zondervan NIV Premier Collection Preacher's Bible

To find a verse-by-verse layout in the New International Version is apparently a hard task, but the good people at Zondervan have said, "No more!" The newest addition to their Premier Collection is the Preacher's Bible in verse-by-verse format. This Bible is geared toward the preacher and teacher and will serve them well as they share God's Word.

The Zondervan NASB Single Column Reference Bible in Brown Leathersoft

When I seriously began reading the Bible for myself, I started with the New American Standard Bible Translation. I loved it, but then came the English Standard Version. The ESV was marketed so well that I made the switch and never looked back. Zondervan's acquisition of rights to print the NASB has brought a resurgence! I have jumped back in to the translation that started it all for me and I've really been enjoying it.

The Crossway ESV Heirloom Single Column Legacy Bible - New Edition Printed in China

It's a widely known fact that Crossway has moved the production of all of their premium Bibles to China. There has been a lot of criticism over this among the premium Bible community. The company recently re-released one of my favorite editions of the ESV that used to be printed in the Netherlands—The ESV Heirloom Single Column Legacy Bible or the Heirloom Legacy for short. I was excited to get my hands on the new edition to see how it stacks up against its predecessor.

The ESV Creeds and Confessions Bible in Black TruTone

I’ve had the privilege of reviewing multiple editions of Crossway’s Creeds and Confessions Bible. I’ve reviewed it in black Goatskin as well as the Westminster Books exclusive hardcover. Today, I get to review it in black TruTone. When I initially saw people posting pictures of this Bible, I was blown away by what I saw. I didn’t believe it could be a TruTone. It looked like leather. There were spine ribs on the back. I remembered this old, pocket-sized TruTone I had a long time ago and it got beat up fairly quickly. I had other TruTones in the past and none of them looked like this. I knew I had to check it out.

The Crossway ESV Heirloom Legacy in Dark Brown

The ESV Heirloom Legacy from Crossway is one of my favorite ESV Bibles. The design is beautiful and really allows you to immerse yourself in the text. It is also one of the few Crossway Bibles that you can still get your hands on that was printed in the Netherlands. In the next couple of months, the new Heirloom Legacy that’s being printed in China will be released and this one will become unavailable. So if this Bible peaks your interest, act quickly.

The Cambridge Calfskin ESV Topaz Bible Review

The Cambridge Topaz has become my favorite ESV on the market. The size is perfect in hand, the page layout is wonderful, and the text is so bold it pops right off the page. Many people get sticker shock when they see the price, but I am here to tell you that if you preach, teach, or just love the verse-by-verse layout, this Bible is worth the price tag. I reviewed the Topaz in goatskin here, but in this review, I get to tell you about the calfskin Topaz, which in my opinion, is right up there with the goatskin, but is definitely easier on the wallet.

The ESV Heirloom Legacy Bible Review

The ESV is the translation I typically use and I’ve used it for a long time; I’ve memorized quite a few portions of Scripture in this translation. It would be hard for me to leave behind. Thankfully, there are bountiful options of incredible Bibles in this translation. The Heirloom Legacy comes from Crossway and it just so happens to be my favorite premium Bible out of all the ones I’ve been blessed to review.
