The ESV Men's Study Bible

If we’re honest, it’s been past time for men to step up in the church. God created men to lead and for far too long we have shunned that role. Good leadership starts with knowing and following God, which is why I’m excited to talk about the new ESV Men’s Study Bible from Crossway.

NASB 2020 Prime Large Print Compact

The Prime editions of the NASB 2020 from Lockman have generated a lot of excitement. These editions represent the first truly premium offerings of the NASB 2020. Do they live up to the hype? Are they worthy of being called premium? Is the paper blue? We’ll talk about all of that and more as we look at the Prime Large Print Compact in brown goatskin leather.

Total Bible Transformation from Resurrection Rebinding

At this point, I’ve been blessed to handle a lot of rebinds, but I may be most impressed by the one I’m about to share. This isn’t just a rebind. It’s a complete transformation! I asked Neil McCauley at Resurrection Rebinding to take my hardcover LSB Wide Margin and give it the premium treatment. The results are stunning and I can’t believe it’s the same Bible! Let’s take a closer look at this total transformation.

The Crossway ESV Wide Margin Reference Bible

I’m not one to write in nicer Bibles, but the ESV Wide Margin Reference Bible just begs to be written in. This may be the first nie ESV that I write in and I’m pretty excited about it. Another interesting feature to notice right out of the gate is that this is one of the few ESVs that has the words of Christ in red. Let’s take a closer look at this unique ESV.

A Rebind from Post Tenebras Lux Bible Rebinding

I remember beginning to learn about the Bible community, joining the Facebook groups, and then being amazed by all the different types of Bibles out there. What particularly struck me were the Bible rebinds where people would send their Bible to a craftsman who would strip the Bible down to the block and rebuild it to the specifications of the customer who sent it. I couldn’t believe the beauty of the Bibles that were being created by these craftsmen. In reality, these Bibles are art and the creators are artisans.

Psalms: Evangelical Biblical Theology Commentary

Lexham Press has recently begun releasing volumes of their Evangelical Biblical Theology Commentary. I have gained a growing interest in Biblical Theology so I am very excited about these commentaries. I’m especially excited that they’ve released a two volume edition of the Psalms from one of my favorite teachers, Dr. Jim Hamilton (or Dr. James M. Hamilton Jr. for the long form).

The Premier Collection NASB 2020 Thinline Bible

I’m going to shoot you straight. I’ve still not been won over by the NASB 2020. That being said, I’m open to giving it more of a chance as some really nice editions are being released. One such edition is from Zondervan. It is the first NASB 2020 to appear in the Premier Collection and it is a thinline in brown goatskin. It is a stunner! Keep reading to see what I mean.

The Loveliest Place by Dustin Benge

I grew up in a time where it was cool to hate on the church. “I love Jesus, but not the church.” Maybe you’ve heard a statement like that. Maybe you’re like me and you’ve actually said a statement like that. I’m thankful that the Lord helps us grow in wisdom and sanctification. One cannot love Jesus and hold disdain for his bride. It is true that no church is perfect and that every church is messy, which is why I’m thankful for this new book by Dustin Benge.
