Welcome to my blog. I mostly write about Christian Living, but I enjoy the Kentucky Wildcats, New Orleans Saints, and a good cup of coffee.
When you’ve been reviewing Bibles for awhile you begin to think that you’ve seen it all. Then Zondervan comes along and blows your mind! The Bible I’m reviewing today is both beautiful and amazing. When you hold it in person I truly think it’ll leave you in awe.
I love seeing more premium CSB’s arriving on the scene. The Bible I’m reviewing today certainly is interesting! It seems to be a blend of two previous CSB’s. The question is, “did they do it right?” The CSB Handcrafted Pastor’s Bible Verse-by-Verse seems to be a blend of the Handcrafted Verse-by-Verse and the former Single Column Pastor’s Bible.
Can I be honest with you? I think Study Bibles are hard to review and are rarely worth the effort it takes to review them. Wow… I can’t believe I actually wrote that. That being said, The Grace and Truth Study Bible from Zondervan is absolutely incredible. It is the reason I keep reviewing Study Bibles. In fact, it has made it into my top two Study Bibles and I find it an incredibly valuable resource.
I’ve really enjoyed the CSB Handcrafted Series. As a serious CSB user, the Handcrafted line offers truly amazing Bibles at an affordable price. Does the Handcrafted Large Print Thinline continue this tradition? Let’s take a look.
Humble Lamb is a Bible publisher that may be a new name to your ears (or eyes). But they are more than just a cool name. They make really, really nice Bibles with some cool and unique features. Personally, I love what Humble Lamb is doing and they are certainly a company that more people need to know. Once you handle one of their Bibles, you’ll see what the fuss is about.
What’s the point of having a blog if you don’t write some of your thoughts down every now and then? Today just so happens to be the day I was born 36 years ago so I’m especially reflective. I was reading this morning from an Advent Bible Reading Plan and came across these verses in Genesis 35:
The Legacy Standard Bible seems to be a translation that I can’t help but love. I’ve completely read through it and I love many of the translation choices and features. I’m always excited when new editions are releasing and I am especially excited about the edition I’m reviewing today.
This may be my first multi-Bible review, but I think it’s a necessary one! This review will include four Bibles and the real story with these Bibles are the covers! These each feature a different Bible verse on the cover and they look amazing. Three of the Bible’s feature what’s called dark brown rough-cut genuine leather. They’re rugged and will break in so nicely! The lastt one features a gray Leathersoft cover, but the gray looks so nice that I couldn’t leave it out. These Bibles are the New King James translation, but there are editions that are also available in the King James Version.
