Being a dad of three kids that are five and under, I love children’s books. I especially love children’s books that teach my kids more about Jesus. Even more, I love children’s books that my kids stay engaged with and want to hear more of. Little Pilgrim’s Big Journey checks every box.
Many years ago the biggest surprise happened that could have ever happened. It sounds like a fairy tale, but it’s completely true. Our kids need to know the story and that’s why the newest book in the Tales that Tell the Truth series from the Good Book Company is an awesome one!
Parenting is one of the most difficult tasks the Lord gives us. As the dad of a three and one year old, no one could prepare me for just how hard it truly is. I’m also confident that no one can truly prepare me for just how hard it will be as they get older. As parents we try our best, we learn on the fly, and we just pray that the Lord will make up for our sinfulness and shortcomings as we seek to love and raise the children he has entrusted to us…

Melissa herself is a mother of three and serves as the Director of Women’s Content for The Gospel Coalition. Her book contains 21 subjects containing five prayers each all based on Scripture…
My two year old daughter is so full of energy that by the time bedtime hits (7:30 pm) I am ready to crumple into bed and pass out myself…
You may know the name Ellie Holcomb, but mostly likely it’s not from her children’s books.
There are no perfect parents. We all know this, right? Parenting is so hard. I ask myself if I’m making the right decision about something involving my kids at least five times a day. I get frustrated with my kids at least 300 times a day.
When we think of shepherds in our life, we tend to think about pastors. Shepherds and sheep are the biblical imagery that we’ve been given for pastors and their congregations. The pastor keeps watch of his church as a shepherd keeps watch of his sheep.
