The Psalms are a gift to the church. In them you find a Spirit-inspired range of emotions. The Psalms are comforting and God exalting. They can be used for prayer, singing, and meditation. Having a great copy of the Psalms can be a valuable resource and Crossway has provided just that with their lovely top grain edition of the Psalms. This edition comes in other bindings, but I will be looking at the top grain specifically.
I’ve become a huge fan of Bible Journals for a lot of different reasons. I think they are incredibly useful and underrated. Thomas Nelson makes truly beautiful Bible Journals. Their design is awesome and they make them in sets that allow you to buy several at once without having to commit to an entire Old Testament or New Testament set. This makes their sets affordable as well. I’m reviewing the set that includes the Epistles and Revelation. Let’s take a look at them.

Several months ago I reviewed a Bible rebind from Hill Bible Rebinding. I really liked their work, but also had some critiques. Hill Bible has since made some changes and they agreed to allow me to do a follow up review to check out the improvements. I sent Hill Bible a bonded leather CSB Verse-by-Verse and quite frankly the results are stunning. I’m excited to share it with you today.

The Premier Collection NKJV Large Print Wide Margin Reference Bible is truly an amazing Bible. It’s beautiful, high quality, and price friendly. So much has been said about it that it will be hard for me to be original, but let’s talk about the things that make this such a nice, premium Bible from Thomas Nelson.
John Piper has written a lot of books, but he declares Providence to be his magnum opus. In it, he has written 711 pages about the providence of God—a term that he admits isn’t in the Bible, but takes great pains to define as prove scripturally. If you could only read one John Piper book, should it be Providence? Is it his most important work?
Some Bibles are so unique that they just make you say, "Wow!" That’s the case the with the Bible I’m reviewing today. The New Living Translation is one that has grown on me as I’ve been reviewing and familiarizing myself with the various translations. This Bible pairs a unique format with a great translation.
I've been a long time lover of the Valley of Vision. The Lord has used this collection of Puritan Prayers to encourage me, disciple me, and aid in my own prayer life. For a long time, the Valley of Vision only came in paperback or bonded leather, but recently Banner of Truth released this collection of prayers in both genuine leather and goatskin leather. Today I'm bringing you a comparison of these new editions and one old one.
I’ve become a big fan of verse-by-verse layouts. They are helpful for teaching, preaching, and I’ve even enjoyed them for my own quiet time reading. The CSB is a translation that I’ve come to enjoy immensely as well. My church uses it so I interact with it often. I even decided to do a six month read through of the whole thing. That being said, when excellent CSB editions come out, I try and jump on them. The CSB verse-by-verse Bible was one I was really excited about. I’ve used the goatskin edition, but I decided I wanted to check out the bonded leather edition because sometimes it’s nice to have an edition you’re not afraid to be a little rough with. Lately it seems that I’ve really become attracted to blue Bibles. It wasn’t a conscious decision, it just seemed to happen. Blue has always been one of my favorite colors so I suppose it would make sense that I like blue Bibles. When I heard about the Sovereign Collection from Thomas Nelson, just the name excited me. I had no idea what it was really, but knew I wanted to check it out. When I received my copy of the Sovereign Collection KJV Personal Size Reference Bible, I was blown away. I didn’t know what to expect, but it certainly wasn’t what showed up.
